Darn Explorer, again

I changed themes early today – from the three-column version of Relaxation to the three-column TNO theme based on Kubrick. The theme is easy on the eyes. The only hitch is that the theme does not load properly in Internet Explorer. The sidebars are not properly rendered. I’ll stick with the theme for a week or so in the hope of finding a solution to the sidebar problem.

In the meantime, for site visitors using Internet Explorer, do consider downloading Firefox, not only does it render pages faster – it’s also a safer browser to use.

  1. Max, I think it’s a css issue. Check your style.css for sidebar margin and padding values.

  2. Yuga,
Thanks for the tip. I’ll try looking into it but with my very limited skills – I’m not confident of finding a fix. I emailed the theme’s author, though, and I hope he can find a fix.

  3. I think we had the same problme before with PinoyTechBlog. I just reduced the padding and margin values of the css style. The relevant codes are just below the #sidebar and #sidebar2 section.

  4. Yuga,
Thanks for the tip. 🙂 I was finally able to fix it. I can now display my Pinoyblog Blog of the week button because it’s length will no longer break the layout.
